Back in June, North Carolina rapper Rapsody teased that she was getting ready to drop a new album, titled Eve. On Friday, August 2nd, Rapsody released the first song from that album.

The song is called “IBTIHAJ” and it features GZA and D’Angelo. The track was produced by 9th Wonder who flips the title track from GZA’s iconic Liquid Swords album.

The song is named after Ibtihaj Muhammad, the fencer who made news for being the first Muslim American woman to wear a hijab while competing for the United States in the 2016 Summer Olympics.
