“Cut Throat,” an unlisted track from Royce Da 5’9”’s latest album, was recorded last minute and had to be left off due to sample clearing issues.

If you haven’t listened to, streamed, or purchased a copy of Royce Da 5’9” latest album Book of Ryan then what is wrong you?! Seriously, besides the project being banoodles, Royce managed to sneak a song in that doesn’t appear on the tracklist. “Cut Throat,” which features TDE’s ScHoolboy Q was originally supposed to be on Book of Ryan. Recorded at the last minute, Royce took to Twitter to explain why the song was left off the record, but promised that he was going to find a way to release it in the immediate future.

Royce managed to get the song on Book of Ryan despite “Cut Throat” not being listed on the 21-track deluxe version. Instead, audiophiles interested to hear how the Detroit legend and the Figg St. Crip get busy on the mic must listen to “Caterpillar Remix” all the way through to reach the bonus cut. It doesn’t seem that this will be rectified any time soon, but hey que sera sera.
